Wixams Tree Primary Academy welcomes applications from families living in Wixams and the surrounding areas.

The Academy’s current admission policy is operated by the Bedford Local Authority (L.A), which is the admissions authority for all community and controlled schools within Bedford.

Admission Arrangements

The admissions number for this Reception year and future years is 90. Your child is entitled to start school in the September following their fourth birthday and must start school by the beginning of the term after their fifth birthday.

Admissions Appeals

Timescale for Reception 2025 appeals:

• Deadline for parents to lodge their appeal: Friday 23rd May 2025
• Appellants will get at least 10 school days (14 calendar days) notice of the hearing date
• Decision letters will be sent out within 5 school days (7 calendar days) of the date of the last appeal to be heard
